Rejecting Jobs

You are here:

The video guide explains the “Reject Jobs” feature on the Talent Pools platform, which allows talent to indicate that they are not interested in a specific job. This feature provides a button that candidates can click to reject a job, effectively letting them communicate their lack of interest. In addition, the feature allows candidates to hide the jobs they have marked as not interested, making it easier for them to focus on opportunities that match their preferences.

When a candidate clicks the reject button, a customizable pop-up message appears for confirmation. Once the candidate confirms, the system updates the job status to “not interested,” so the candidate knows that they have already rejected that job and can move on to other opportunities.

From the employer’s perspective, when the Reject Jobs feature is enabled, the system automatically hides candidates who have marked a job as not interested from search results. For example, if an employer searches for a candidate who has previously rejected a job, that candidate will not appear in the results by default. However, the employer has the option to toggle this setting to view candidates who have rejected the job, at which point the candidate’s “not interested” status will be visible.

Overall, this functionality improves the user experience for both candidates and employers. Candidates can manage their job applications more efficiently by filtering out roles they have already declined, while employers receive a clearer picture of candidate interest, ensuring that they focus on engaging with talent who are genuinely interested in the role.
