Our new threshold functionality allows you to provide a better experience to users by only displaying and engaging with top matching jobs and candidates.

The platform’s matching functionality is designed to automatically generate and refine candidate matches when a job is posted. When a job is entered into the system, it calculates a matching score for every candidate in the database by combining a data match (based on custom data items) with a keyword match (generated automatically through AI). This total matching score determines which candidates are most suitable for the job.

Administrators can configure several threshold-based options to enhance the user experience. For example, on the search talent page, you can set a minimum matching threshold so that only candidates who exceed that score will be visible to clients. Additionally, you can disable client notifications for candidate applications that fall below a specified threshold, ensuring that employers are only notified about highly relevant candidates and are not overwhelmed with unsuitable applications.

The system also offers tools for automatically communicating with clients. For instance, once a job is posted, the platform can email the client with the number of candidates that meet or exceed a particular match threshold. This email notification can be further refined so that only candidates above a certain quality or match score are included, providing clients with a curated list of top candidates. There are also features that allow recruiters to see the count of matching candidates via a clickable link on the admin dashboard, which, when clicked, opens the search page with the relevant matches for that job.

Furthermore, there are features designed to improve responsiveness and efficiency. One such feature automatically triggers notifications to clients as soon as a candidate is approved on the platform, checking the candidate against every existing job. If the candidate exceeds the specified match threshold for any job, the system promptly notifies the relevant client, enabling recruiters to quickly engage with newly available talent.

Additional configurations are available to limit the number of matches sent in notifications. For example, even when hundreds of candidates meet the minimum threshold, you can configure the system to send only the top 10 or top 5 matches to the client. This ensures that clients receive only the most suitable candidates and are not burdened with an excessive number of notifications.

Overall, this matching system enhances the recruitment process by ensuring that both candidates and clients receive notifications only when there is a high degree of relevance. It reduces the noise from irrelevant applications and promotes a streamlined communication process, ultimately leading to better placement outcomes.
