The platform now features an integration with Jitsi Video as an improved solution for handling video calls. After discontinuing the integration with Twilio Video and finding Zoom Video to be unreliable, the platform developed a Jitsi Video integration due to its superior reliability, flexibility, and support.
When users click on the video call button, the system now launches the Jitsi Video service instead of using Twilio or Zoom. The video interface is embedded on your domain, displaying essential details such as the contract or job name and the relevant participant’s name—whether it’s a freelancer or a client contact. The interface also includes common video tools such as microphone and video controls, options to invite additional participants, and customizable background settings (e.g., blurring or changing the background). Additional configuration settings are available to enhance the video call experience.
Setting up the integration with Jitsi Video requires a bit of manual configuration, including obtaining and setting up a Jitsi API key. For assistance with this setup, the support team is available to help.
If you have any questions or need help integrating Jitsi Video into your platform, feel free to reach out for support. Enjoy the improved video calling experience and thank you for your time.
