This guide explains a new feature that by default hides the ended jobs on the customer ‘view jobs’ page. This creates a better user experience by reducing clutter and making it easier for each customer to find the job in question.
Step by Step Guide
In your admin dashboard under the ‘Settings’ menu item is the option to ‘Add new button to Show/Hide Ended & Closed Jobs on the Customer’s Jobs page and hide them by default?’
This feature allows the customers to only view their active jobs as seen in the image below. When the feature is enabled, this is the default view.
If the customer wants to see the jobs that have ended, they can click the ‘Show ended jobs’ button (top left corner), which will cause them to appear listed together with the current jobs, as seen in the image below.
This feature creates a better user experience by reducing clutter on the jobs page and assists customers to find the job they are looking for faster.
