The platform by default has two milestone options, which are used for customers to pay freelancers. Individual milestones are task-based milestones while repeating milestones are based on an hourly rate and weekly or monthly cycles. The option to disable the repeating milestones feature is found under the “Platform Settings” menu item.
This feature disables the option for repeating milestones, so that the milestones are purely task based. The user creating the milestones (whether it’s the freelancer or the customer) will accordingly have the option to choose from either contract type, or only the individual milestone contract type (as shown in both images below)
