How to enable this feature

An admin can choose to manually approve each freelancer prior to their profile becoming active. This is done on the admin dashboard under “Platform Settings”, by selecting “Manually approve each freelancer before they’re activated?”

A freelancer’s profile will not be visible to customers, nor will the freelancer be able to apply for jobs until their profile is approved.

There are several settings affecting freelancer registration that a Marketplace owner can choose to activate. The only requirement of the marketplace is for a user to input their email, however an administrator can opt to have a freelancer input their education, work experience, portfolio items, and several more options. An administrator can check which items are further required before their profile is activated on the “Users” Menu item of the admin dashboard.
